Taking it easy, nourishing your body with healthy fats and getting more rest are the 3 things I do before I’m due on to reduce any PMS, anxiety or tension. Today I shall drink coffee, dream of coffee and hope coffee never leaves me . Considering a couple of cups a day can lengthen your life and pack an antioxidant punch I think that rationalises my irrational coffee compulsion. Did I mention I like #coffee ☕️ 🤗 . . . . . #theresiliencecoach #iamwellandgood #mentalhealthblogger #goodmoodfood #brainfood #morningroutine #mindbodygram #wellness #selfcare #holistichealth #positivevibes

Lists, meditation, reading, exercise... sometimes anxiety is so acute that none of the above work. Does focusing so much on calming yourself down makes things worse? That’s ok. Putting it all down and walking away worked wonders for me. Don’t underestimate the healing powers of simplicity. Through family and work I see alarming mental health problems in children and younger people from 11 -18 years old. I also two recurring triggers 1)Family dynamics and security struggles 2) SOCIAL MEDIA Instagram being one of the main platforms for comparison and self criticism. I myself have considered removing myself from all social media but hays not the answer. For one I need it for my business. Secondly, like anything in life there are positive opportunities too and social media when used my secure and mentally resilient people can be a good thing. Thirdly -let’s face it- social media ain’t going anywhere so we need to finding coping strategies. But how realistic is this? I read in the paper yesterday therapy for children with mental health disorders is soon going to be available via mobile and tablet therapy! Is this the answer? Using the cause to become the cure? I’m genuinely baffled as to what the next move should be. Am I a hypocrite myself by using social media to aid resilience when I strongly believe social media also CAUSES lack of resilience. Chicken or egg? 🤷‍♀️ Anyone working in or interested in the world of holistic health I would love to know your thoughts?! 🤔 . . . . . #mentalhealth #healthyeah #theresiliencecoach #mindfulness #mindbodygram #iamwellandgood #holistichealing #mentalhealthmatters #selfcare #wellness #mindbodysoul #mentalhealthblogger #wellbeing #postivevibes
